LEEDS BPP MEETING - LEEDS JANUARY 22nd 2006

On Sunday 22 January 2006, around 40 White Nationalists, including members and former senior regional officers of the BNP, attended a lively gathering hosted by the West Yorkshire BPP.

BPP members and supporters came from Leeds, Bradford, Barnsley, Calderdale, Sheffield, York and other communities across the Ridings.

A special welcome was extended to Ricky Fawcus and other representatives of Tyr Services, whose long journey North was much appreciated, while Kevin Watmough, BPP National Secretary, manned the equally busy BPP Literature Table. Also present and selling literature and badges was Mark Cotterill, Editor of Heritage and Destiny magazine. All three organisations enjoyed a brisk trade.

Due to the unwarranted attack on Eddy Morrison and Ken S-----------, the official proceedings were somewhat curtailed but the mood of all present, there being some natural worry about a further attack by roving Reds, remained defiant. In the end, the afternoon passed peacefully.

BPP senior activist Peter Rushton, also Deputy Editor of Heritage and Destiny, performed excellently as Chairman introducing keynote speaker, and former BNP Burnley activist, Steve Smith and BPP National Youth Division Organiser Dave Jones.

A compelling and forthright speaker, Steve Smith won and held his audience’s attention with an oration which marked him out as a future leader of this movement. For some 20 minutes, to increasingly louder applause, Steve illustrated the steady decline of our once great homeland and traced the gradual breakdown of traditional community relations due to the ever-intensifying admission to our nation island of growing numbers of  Aliens. The protection and encouragement of these Aliens has been imposed upon us at the cost of isolating and demoralizing the native population and has been a political and economic priority of successive Whitehall regimes.

Dave Jones, again mounting the firing step on behalf of BPP Youth, spoke for some 10 minutes on the theme of the Human Rights Act. The fallacy of Human Rights being an option open to free – speaking White Nationalists was reinforced by reminders of the on-going trials of BNP Leader Nick Griffin and BNP Chief Graphic Designer Mark Collett. Dave drew attention to a number of other glaring human rights issues and subsequently agreed to compile a broader overview article for the next edition of Imperium Magazine.

Chairman Peter Rushton, as ever a captivating speaker, addressed the Meeting in his usual manner, employing as a prop a colourful, glossy, brochure issued by his local authority and informing residents that their district is now in a conversation and heritage area. So far, so good. The down side, Peter noted, was the brochure’s reference to

the availability of interpreter and translation services. These were offered in several languages. None of them were European languages. Most were Asian. Just as Steve Smith was able to show how the traditional culture and way of life of the Lancashire heartland has become steadily diluted by the infusion of alien cultures and customs, so, too, was Peter able to show how his locality has been so transformed that a local authority brochure’s interpreter support is not offered in European languages.

In the absence of BPP National Organiser Eddy Morrison, this writer delivered a short but well-received speech which continued Dave Jones’ theme of Human Rights and asked what about the human rights of Eddy Morrison and Ken S--------? What about THEIR right to freedom of speech, to stand as they stood at a public Re-direction  Point without the threat, the reality of a violent assault by a gang of Left – Anarchist thugs? What about their right to speak up for OUR right to gather as we were doing in a private venue and to voice our beliefs and concerns without the threat of organised Red Terror, bordering, as we believe was the case in Headingley, on attempted murder, or official harassment?

In these issues, we stand with our BNP colleagues Nick Griffin and Mark Collett who currently await the conclusion of their Leeds Crown Court trial on race hate charges. We continue to condemn the State’s oppression of White Nationalists and its restrictions upon of our right to freedom of speech.

Also recalled by this writer was Eddy Morrison’s favourite slogan, The 14 Words: ‘We must secure the existence of our people and a future for White children’.

We…….. reminds us that we are and must act as a party, as a movement.

Must…….is an instruction, a call to action, an imperative which leaves no choice

Secure….speaks for itself but behoves us to form the shield wall, to protect what exists and to guard well such cultural terrain as we later gain and reclaim

The Existence of our People……we ARE a people, we have had a long journey to where we stand today, we must be united in defence of common interests

And a Future for White children…..White children are the continuation of our bloodline, our progeny…if Tomorrow is to belong to them and to us, we must, as previous speakers had emphasized, stand together and staunchly pursue our collective aims, hopes and policies.

All speakers were loudly and warmly applauded and special interest was shown in a report to the Meeting given to two comrades who had visited Eddy Morrison, who was by then awaiting treatment in a city hospital.

A healthy collection raised a valuable sum for BPP funds and the raffle prizes, original copies of Richard Harwood’s ‘Did Six Million Really Die?’ and ‘The Anti – Nazi League Revealed’ were won, in an obviously rigged ‘fix’, by this writer.

Future BPP activities are under discussion and will be announced soon. Publication of Vanguard and Imperium will continue as before. Publication of Vanguard’s next edition might be slightly delayed.
