THE  ROOTS  OF  ANTI-SOCIAL  BEHAVIOUR

The rise in anti-social behaviour, along with complaints about inadequate policing and an inept judiciary, is casting an ominous shadow over everybody's life these days, and seems likely to loom over future elections.

In a belated response the government is now proposing quick-fix measures like Anti-Social Behaviour Orders (ASBOs), on-the-spot fines, enhanced police powers, and crash-courses in parenting. Such political aspirins will of course have very little effect on the profound disease afflicting our society; but the blame for failure will be dumped as usual on British parents.

Some people argue that the decline of Christianity - once seen as the 'glue' of Western civilization - has loosed moral laxity, cultural decadence and incivility upon the modern world. Others take the pragmatic view that human behaviour is governed by precept and example, as seen in the parental life-style and public behaviour attracting the largest material rewards and most popular esteem. At an even more basic level, some ascribe most bad behaviour to the effects of bad diet, chemical and environmental pollutants, smoking, alcohol and drug-taking.  All of these factors are undoubtedly involved to some extent, and in some cases more than others. Even so, parental influence is seen as paramount in moulding the youthful character and inculcating acceptable norms of  behaviour. But whereas that was once an unquestionable truism, nowadays the parent's counsel and nurturing is marginalised by the TV set and radio.

What used to be called 'family values' have been supplanted by popular TV and radio programmes in which every kind of degenerate behaviour is indulged and excused in the alleged cause of 'social realism'. The leading characters of soap operas spend most of the time in the pub when they are not elsewhere engaged in sexual promiscuity and perversion, lying, stealing , violence , swindling, work avoidance and maudlin sentimentality. There is only one kind of behaviour rigorously excluded , namely anything which might be construed as 'racist' or 'homophobic'. Indeed, the leading characters are all enthusiastic negrophiliacs, whatever else they purport to be. In short, the TV and radio soap operas, along with many other programmes, have become parables of political correctness and instruments of social engineering. Whatever the setting, Lancashire back street, East End pub or Yorkshire village, negroes and Asians are used as screen-fillers where they aren't parachuted into the plot along with assorted feminists and homosexuals.

Such bogus 'realism' is thus the pabulum on which our children are reared by the in loco parentis broadcasters. This, they are constantly being told, is 'where it's at'; this is the world you must live in, what you must think, what you may say and do regardless of other sources of information and advice. Observe how conspicuous examples of moral and cultural degeneracy are ennobled and fawned upon by Royalty; that the Queen's Speech extols multi-racialism; that any TV programme or advertisement depicting more than two or three people will usually include negroes or Asians; that young women with sex-appeal are depicted as assuming command of law and order. Note that the heroes are as violent, promiscuous and profane as the purported villains, but that they appear totally devoid of racial discrimination (that is to say, racial loyalty) in any shape, way or form...unlike the people you meet everywhere else.

Who needs scholarship, craftsmanship, cultural or physical prowess, moral excellence these days, is the message, when cavorting and bawling on stage two or three nights a week and being altogether moronic and degenerate can get you a knighthood, a millionaire's residence, Rolls Royce and adoring populace? While there in the shadows of all this meretricious glamour are the broken families, drug-addicted children, crime-ridden inner cities, school drop-outs, youthful delinquents,  civil and cultural squalor and, of course, utterly demoralised parents. Meanwhile the politicians and legislators impose punitive restrictions on racial loyalty, patriotism and free speech, while facilitating the erosion of British identity and independence. And now these same agents of  national decadence have the gall to deplore the lack of respect in modern Britain!

Future historians will assuredly regard the liberal consensus as the HIV virus of the body politic, destroying its immunity against all the envious and malignant assaults of alien peoples and ideologies.

So don't look to the politicians for any improvement in the socio-economic environment. All human affairs are governed in the last resort by Nature's supreme law of natural selection. If Britain and the British go into terminal decline, it will be for lack of the will to survive rather than the assaults of manifestly inferior opponents. Given the kind of pseudo-society the government seems bent on creating, anti-social behaviour is not merely predictable but arguably a patriotic duty so long as it spares the individual.

What price the law-abiding citizen in a deeply corrupt and totalitarian state? So given the god-like power to do one thing to bring this nation to its senses, one would probably choose the cessation of all TV and radio broadcasts and national newspapers for at least two years.

Think about it; the truth is out there.
