Former VMO leader Bert Eriksson died on October 2nd at his home on the Dutch-Belgian border. Bert served in the Hitlerjugend at the very end of the war and refounded the VMO in the early '70s. He was of course a familiar figure at the annual Diksmuide weekend, where many of us enjoyed his hospitality over the years!

It is worth remembering that one of the most electorally successful racial nationalist movements in Europe - the Vlaams Blok - sprang from the most hardline paramilitary racial nationalist movement of the '70s and '80s - the VMO!
