Dear Sir/Madam.
I write with reference to an apparent oversight concerning the
principle you seem to fervently endorse-racial equality. I have perused
this site and subsequently decided to similarly view the National White
Police Association site yet I am unable to determine the existence of
such a resource? I have accessed numerable search engines yet I have
failed to locate any such similar associations for indigenous white
officers. To be blunt I am absolutely astounded at this complete
inequality, which by default could only be construed as fundamentally
racist. As I would hope you are aware, it is illegal in this country to
express opinions or act in a manner which could be construed as racist.
It is in my opinion that this acutely offensive oversight contravenes
the Race Relations Act of 1976 which makes it unlawful for an employer
to treat or fail to prevent the treatment of workers less favourably
because of their colour, race, nationality or ethnic or national
origins. The omission of any sort of similar Association for White officers
clearly applies in this instance and is therefore illegal.
I would be most eager to hear your views on this flagrant breach
of the law and I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest
convenience.
With kindest regards.
MISS KATHLEEN DERMODY
