BPP SET TO MAKE BURNLEY
A STRONGHOLD!
The British People's Party after its
successful meeting in the town last Sunday, 20th November is now
targetting Burnley to be one if its Northern 'stronghold' towns.
Following up on the heels of the Sunday meeting at which a lot of local
Burnley people expressed their support for this new force in
local Burnley politics, the leadership of the BPP have decided that in
the early months of the New Year - 2006 - a "Day of Action" will be
held during which Burnley centre and districts will be flooded with the
BPP "Battle for Britain" leaflet. The BPP is also SERIOUSLY considering
standing at LEAST one candidate in Burnley in next year's council
elections. Like Leeds and Bradford are fast becoming, Burnley will also
be made into a big growth area for the BPP! The place where Steve Smith
and his brave team led the first council breakthrough must NOT be left
to go to waste and the BPP aims to make sure it will not.
We can also now reveal that intense pressure was put on Burnley police last week to try and either get the Burnley BPP meeting cancelled or at the least members and supporters intimidated by a police presence there. Plain clothes police were seen in the streets near the meeting room - as if the BPP meeting was a threat of some kind - it was in fact totally peaceful. Burnley police did not state where they had received information from about the meeting nor who had rung them obviously with a spoiling tactic in mind. We will NOT be intimidated! If we call a meeting or activity IT GOES AHEAD! So
stand by for our early 2006 "Day of Action"!
