COMMENT: Let's hope Leeds police spend as much time and effort
tracing these Asians as they would do with Whites committing the same
offence.

Police probing a shocking
incident of abuse of a bus driver in Leeds have issued pictures of a
group of young people who could be vital witnesses.
The driver had been taking his double deck bus along Harehills Road, Harehills, Leeds, at about 7.30pm on June 27 – the day of the England v Germany World Cup match. Noise and disturbance began on the upper deck and concerned for order and other passengers, the driver asked those involved to calm down and stop the trouble. One person then pressed the emergency engine cut-off button stopping the vehicle. Then as the large group of youths began to get off the bus near to Banstead Park a number of them – at least four – turned on the driver and made offensive racial remarks . One of the suspects threatened the driver that he would be shot if he were to issue a call for help to the police. The incident left the driver shaken and offended by the abuse, but fortunately uninjured. A spokesman for North East Leeds Police said: "Here we have a situation of a bus driver going about his duties providing a service to members of the public being subjected to gross and needless abuse when he tries to restore order." "Clearly if you are one of the people featured in the bus CCTV pictures who witnessed this incident then you should come forward and contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111." © 2010 British People's Party, BM Box 5581, London WC1N 3XX |
