MORE than 750,000 immigrants have poured into Britain from Eastern Europe in the last two years, new figures reveal.

The influx — mostly from Poland — is nearly 30 times higher than Government predictions. And it is more than the populations of Liverpool and Manchester put together.

Home Office figures show 510,000 people from eight states which joined the EU in 2004 have registered to work here.

An estimated 250,000 more have not signed the workers’ register because they are self-employed.

Shadow Home Secretary David Davis said: “This shows we are right to call for restrictions on Bulgaria and Romania when they join the EU.”

The number of asylum seekers coming here is UP while the total of cheats kicked out is DOWN.

Between July and September 5,850 asylum seekers arrived — slightly up on the previous quarter.
