Hungarian Nationalist leader 'insults' TV journalists over Hoax Jobbik leader heckles TV journalists over Holocaust® denial question BUDAPEST — Leader of the radical nationalist Jobbik party Gabor Vona insulted a journalist in response to a question about Holocaust® denial on a morning television program on Monday. Vona said "if you are so interested in Jewish issues I suggest you move to Israel". The remark came in response to the reporter's question on whether Jobbik encouraged its supporters to attend events which denied the Holocaust®. The journalists called Vona's remark "outrageous." Hungarian neo-Nazi groups plan to hold an international march and concerts in Budapest on August 15 to commemorate the death anniversary of Hitler's deputy, Rudolf Hess,* and the TV reporter wanted to find out if Jobbik supported this event. Vona declined to answer the question. *Rudolf Hess was strangled to death on August 17, 1987 by agents of the British MI6 working in collusion with Hess' American captors. |
