John Tyndall
Memorial Meeting
Leeds
Saturday September 10th
2005
The memorial
meeting for John Tyndall was very well attended and was well worth all
the
effort put in to ensure its success.
The meeting was chaired by Nationalist Alliance
National Organiser, John
Wood. He opened the meeting by saying that all the speakers had known
John for
many years; some from the 1950s and others a little later.
There were four speakers sitting at the front table
but there were five
chairs in view.
One chair remained
empty throughout the
meeting and had been covered with a black cloth. This chair was for
John! He was there with us throughout the
meeting
in spirit!
Tess Culnane, John Wood and
Steve Smith at the meeting
Steve Smith
opened the speaking by pointing out those who were the race-traitors of
the
day. He said that all those who supported the multicultural society
should be
hanged. A topic that found great favour with the audience.
Tess Culnane paid a
very moving tribute to
John Tyndall and urged that his dream of nationalist unity should
continue. She
said that it would be a fitting reminder to him if it were possible.
Richard
Edmonds, a lifelong friend of JT spoke of his triumph of leading the
National
Front in the early days and of his later success when he formed the
British
National Party. He said that John
dedicated his life to the nationalist movement and he will be sorely
missed.

Richard
Edmonds holding a copy of the last Spearhead to be published
John Wood
also spoke of his friendship with John that covered forty years. He
said that
his death had left a huge gap in the nationalist ranks and it was our
job to
fill that gap.
He remarked
that John’s last public appearance had been on a platform with the
Nationalist
Alliance a couple of weeks before his death. He
said that he was proud to have been there with
him. He recalled many
previous meetings where he and John had spoken together.
Again, John
Wood called upon all nationalists to unite and make John’s dream into
reality. This, he said, would only be
possible if
everyone was prepared to work together for the common good of
nationalism.
Every
speaker received an enthusiastic ovation from the audience and after
the
meeting, there was an opportunity for old comrades to meet.
Special
thanks must go to the security team headed by John Pilkuski who ensured
that
the meeting would run smoothly.
Kevin
Watmough, who organised the event, did a
stirling job in decorating the room and arranging transport from the
re-direction point to the venue.
Ricky
Hobbs organized a goodly selection of
refreshments, which were enjoyed immensely. In
all, a great effort and a fitting tribute to a
great man!
