We have had a number of Jewish newspapers
phoning us regarding some leaflets distributed recently in the
Manchester area. We
have categorically stated that these are not officially approved BPP
leaflets. Although we have not seen the leaflet which someone has put
our HQ address on we have no knowledge of this nor of the person or
persons putting them out. We suspect that it is a Red group in the
Manchester area trying to discredit the BPP by distributing crude
leaflets without our knowledge. No member of the party is allowed to
put out leaflets on their own initiative without HQ approval. To do so
is an expellable offense. No leaflets as described to us by the Jewish
press have ever been sent to HQ for approval. Someone or some
organisation in the Manchester area is sinking to a new low in trying
to get the BPP name blackened with childish and offensive leaflets,
which we condemn utterly. If you wish to produce a leaflet on a local
issue you MUST run it by HQ first!!!!
...and whichever Red
organisation really put them out to upset Manchester's Jewish community
- nobody is fooled for a moment by such a crude attempt at a fraudulent
leaflet!
