Allegations of gay sex at Llanelli tourist attractions have been made a
campaigning issue by a political party.
The British People's Party talks about the issue in leaflets
distributed throughout the town. It comes after a website listed
Pembrey Country Park as one of five places in Carmarthenshire where men
are meeting for sex.
A party spokesman said: "Would you take your children to Pembrey
Country Park in the summer knowing that it is frequented by these
people?"
The leaflet claimed a lack of police funding means officers are unable
to patrol the area enough.
Other locations mentioned on the website included the toilets at Burry
Port Harbour, and Cefn Sidan.
