Fury at new homosexual group for young people

Manchester BPP members reacted with dismay at a report that the Lesbian and Gay Foundation are to launch a youth group for youngsters aged from 14 to 21!

From January 2010 youngsters will be encouraged to attend meetings with a promise of a trip to Alton Towers if they attend five out of seven meetings. The second meeting after the introduction will be talks on sex and sexuality and coming out.

The BPP are powerless to close down this group, however local Manchester members will make prominent individuals and sections of society whom are likely to be opposed to this development aware of this new group.

On the positive side to the strengthening of homosexual society, local BPP members have found greater sympathy for the BPP policy on homosexuality among the public. In Chorlton an area recently posted with BPP leaflets, drinkers in a local pub were has sickened when told of this new homosexual group. When we were asked the name of this group by a female drinker, we realised there was no name. This then made us think that the group is secretive!
