NATIONALIST WEEK No.13
22nd
August 2004
Online
bulletin of the
Spearhead Group
FIGHT FOR FREE SPEECH CONTINUES!
Our last issue highlighted the urgent need
to challenge the oppressive Race Laws at all levels. Many Patriots who
receive Nationalist Week have contacted with messages of support for
the “Freedom” campaign. We aim to produce a separate leaflet/pamphlet
on this issue. When ready we will be advertising it in Nationalist
Week. Donations towards the campaign and the
continued upkeep of the Spearhead Group, especially Internet and
Website, which are funded by a small number of people on slender
finances will be greatly welcome. Send any donation, large or small to:
- Imperium Press, PO Box 156,
Leeds LS27 8WW. Help us
gather impetus by giving us the tools to fight back for real White
Nationalism in Great Britain and the right for freedom to speak the
truth on race and immigration.
LOONEY PC
MAD CLERIC WANTS TO BAN PATRIOTIC HYMN!
An Anglican bishop
wants to ban the hymn I Vow To Thee My Country -
because it echoes
Hitler's Germany and is "heretical".
The Bishop of Hulme,
the Rt Rev Stephen Lowe, attacked English
Nationalism in a
diocese newsletter.
He compares the hymn -
which was sung at the funeral of Diana,
Princess of Wales -
with right-wing attitudes.
Bishop Lowe said he
would not sing it as Christians' responsibilities
lay with God.
He told BBC Radio 4's
Today programme recently: "It actually says
we're going to support
my country whatever it says, entire and whole
and perfect, the love
unquestioned, which is in that first verse of
the hymn, right or
wrong.
The first verse of I
Vow To Thee My Country
I vow to thee my
country, all earthly things above,
Entire and whole and
perfect, the service of my love:
The love that asks no
question, the love that stands the test,
That lays upon the
altar the dearest and the best;
The love that never
falters, the love that pays the price,
The love that makes
undaunted the final sacrifice.
"That, I'm afraid, is
actually heretical because it actually says
that my country's
approach to things must be my first call on myself
and that my
relationship with God or what I believe to be right or
wrong is secondary to
that.
"Honestly, nobody can
really, if they read that hymn, sing it in any
seriousness anymore."
He added he was raising
the issue in the wider context of
the "vilification" of
foreigners in the media and had noticed it was
being sung at "various
national occasions".
He said: "It's saying
my country right or wrong. I don't think
anybody could actually
say they could adopt an approach whereby they
said they would not ask
any questions of their government and their
policies and so on.
"The government under
the Queen in this country is actually the
representation of this
country and it has all the... echoes of 1930s
Nationalism in Germany
and some of the nastier aspects of right wing
Republicanism in the
United States."
The hymn was written by
Sir Cecil Spring-Rice in 1918 and is set to
music from Gustav
Holst's The Planets.
A version was adapted
as the anthem for the Rugby World Cup.
What a totally classic
example of liberal tyranny and hypocrisy! This creature in cleric’s
clothing, Lowe has a duty, as a high representative of the Church of
England to DEFENF patriotism not attack it – and of course that same
old stand-by of the mentally bankrupt – it echoes Nazi Germany – if you
have no arguments against the rise of White Nationalism drag up the
Nazis and all the baggage of the disputed Holocaust.
ESTONIAN
NATIONALIST MEMORIAL
An Estonian town has
unveiled a controversial monument to honour those who fought with Nazi
forces against the Soviet Union in World War II.
The monument depicts an
Estonian soldier in German military uniform.
The local authorities
in the western town of Lihula said they wanted to honour those
Estonians who had to choose between the two sides.
But the Estonian Prime
Minister, Juhan Parts, described the monument as a provocation.
An investigation is
underway into whether it could incite political hostilities.
'Less evil one'
About 2,000 people
attended the unveiling ceremony on Friday.
"This monument is for
people who had to choose between two evils, and they chose the less
evil one," Tiit Madisson, the governor of the Lihula parish, was quoted
as saying by AFP news agency.
"They had already
experience of the Soviet occupation, and they didn't want it to come
back," he added.
A plaque on the
monument reads: "To Estonian men who fought in 1940-1945 against
Bolshevism and for the restoration of Estonian independence."
Correspondents say no
official protest had been received from Russia, which was widely
expected to condemn the monument.
THOUSANDS
ATTEND GERMAN NATIONALIST GATHERING IN SAXONY
6,900 Attend Successful
`Deutsche Stimme' Festival
Beautiful summer
weather welcomed 6,900 nationalists and patriots who
met in Mücka,
Saxony, on Saturday, August 7, for the fourth festival of
the "Deutsche Stimme"
("German Voice") publishers, to strengthen
motivation and spirit
for a better Germany.
Guests from the USA,
Russia, Canada, Spain, Italy, England, Hungary, the
Czech republic,
Slovakia and France underlined the event's international
standing for the
worldwide national resistance movement.
The participants really
enjoyed the open-air event, with speeches and
the musical
performances by live bands. In addition, the lectures inside
the meeting hall were
well attended. Underscoring the political
character of the event
were speeches by Udo Voigt, chairman of the
National Democratic
Party (NPD), nationalist publisher Herbert
Schweiger, World War II
fighter pilot Col. Hajo Herrmann, a spokesman
for the Russian
nationalist organization "Pamyat," Alexander Kamkin, and
Stefan Rochow, chairman
of the JN, youth section of the NPD. Spectators
enjoyed music by Frank
Rennicke, Michael Müller, Sleipnir and Jörg
Hähnel, as well as
the bands "Radikahl," "Kraftschlag" and "Youngland."
Among the authors and
publishers who participated were Prof. Dr. Klaus
Sojka ("Unverwundbarer
Ruhm - Opfergang im Felde und in der Heimat"),
Austrian publisher
Gerhoch Reisegger ("Wir werden schamlos irregeführt -
Vom 11. September bis
zum Irakkrieg"), Peter Naumann ("Die Lockspitzel
des Verfassungsschutzes
und der 'rechte Terror'"). An entertaining
cultural evening also
included a political cabaret ("Volk ans Gehirn").
Adding to the
festival's appeal were parallel events, including
Volkstanz (folk
dancing) and tombola, as well as participation of many
young families with
their children. Youngsters enjoyed a children's
programme with a
children's jumping-castle, and a rodeo riding tournament
accompanied with
regular musical hits.
The day brought
together people of different generations, and it was
impressive how young
and old nationalists showed harmony and national
solidarity. They made
clear that the national resistance represents a
community of
generations, in contrast to the individualistic BRD
society. A range of
activists, including national revolutionaries,
old-line conservatives,
German patriots, and supporters of such
patriotic parties as
the NPD, DVU, REP, DP, demonstrated a common will
to overcome divisions
and work together for the future. In addition to
representatives of such
groups as the NPD, JN and NHB were participants
of the "Nationale
Bündnis Dresden," "Aktionsbüro Norddeutschland", "Bund
freier Jugend",
"Deutsche Rechtsbüro," "Aktion freies
Deutschland",
"Heimattreue Jugend," "Kameradschaft Karlsruhe",
"Hilfsgemeinschaft
für Nationale Gefangene," "Nationale und Soziale
Aktionsbüro
Mitteldeutschland", "Freie Infotelefon", "Nationale und
Soziale
Aktionsbündnis
Thüringen", "Club 88", "Gemeinschaft Deutscher Frauen,"
"Jugendklub
Grünau", "Freie Jugendprojekt Berlin", "Deutsch-Ungarische
Freundeskreis," "SC
Friedrichroda", and the periodicals "Unabhängige
Nachrichten", "Deutsche
Militärzeitung", "Freiheit Wattenscheid",
"Herrlich
Herrmannsland", "Förderturm", "Unsere Welt", and "Triskele."
Although harassment and
restrictions by local government authorities are
routine at these
events, this year, as in the past, the police made no
arrests. The fact that
there were no arrests, even though alcoholic
beverages were sold,
and there were rock music bands in the evening,
shows the remarkable
discipline of the nearly 7,000 attendees.
Also remarkable was the
exceptional interest shown by local residents.
Many people who lived
nearby attended, in spite of denunciations of the
event by regional
church leaders and prominent public figures. The
protestant Lutheran
church of the
Berlin-Brandenburg-Schlesische-Oberlausitz
region, the regional bishop,
the church district
Niesky, and the representative of foreigners in the
rural district, had
issued a public statement denouncing this event, and
the NPD, as contrary to
"our understanding of a democratic society and
Christian ethics."
The festival's success
was also a rebuke of the regional "Landesamt für
Verfassungsschutz," the
secret police of Saxony, which tried, as usual,
to cancel the event by
intimidating the owner of the property where it
took place. In a news
release, a spokesman for the regional
Verfassungsschutz
office warned that the event, which he said might
draw 3,500 visitors,
would be an advertisement for right wing extremism.
Every person who
attended, the office warned, would be helping to
finance and support
right wing extremism.
A main goal of the
festival, summed up in its slogan, "To Give Saxony a
Future - NPD Into the
Legislature," was to boost the National Democratic
Party's regional
election campaign. Even though this event was almost
entirely ignored by the
media, it was an important milestone. The NPD
scored impressively in
local elections on June 13, with victories for
its candidates in
several local assemblies, and with rightist parties
gaining nearly eight
percent of the vote in Saxony in the EU elections.
According to the most
recent public opinion poll by MDR television, five
percent of the Saxony
electorate will definitely vote for the NPD in the
forthcoming September
19 election, with another nine percent considering
doing so.
A lesson in UNITY which
we British Nationalists could well learn from!
Italy -
Mussolini launches herself at Europe’s far right
Alessandra
Mussolini’s racial-nationalist Alternativa Sociale intends to use
its newly won seat in the European Parliament as a reference point for
Nationalist and racist movements throughout the enlarged European
Union.
The Alternative Sociale
brings together the Fronte Sociale Nazionale, Forza Nuova and
Libertà di Azione. Mussolini, the Duce’s granddaughter and
leader of Libertà di Azione, wants to use her name to attract
attention in Strasbourg, in the hope of becoming the leading star among
her European colleagues of the extreme right, including followers of
Jean-Marie Le Pen’s Front National. She is standing against the
increasing liberalization of the “National Alliance” of Italy. Fini,
the “AN” leader is now openly pro-Zionist and the AN, incorporating the
old MSI, is unrecognizable as the party it once was – remind you of
anything?
UNEMPLOYMENT?
During a surgeon's
conference in Harare, Zimbabwe, three of the surgeons go out for a
drink one evening. The first is American, the second English and the
third Zimbabwean.
They start boasting about their surgical abilities. The American says,
"Two years ago a man fell into a giant meat mixer, and all that was
left of him was his leg. We took him into our lab, created another
artificial leg, arms, a body, head, everything. Six months later he
went back to work and he was so efficient, he put three people out of
work!"
"That's nothing", says the English surgeon. "A while back a worker fell
into a nuclear reactor. All that was left was his right hand. So we
built on an arm, a body, legs, a head, everything. When he went back to
work 6 months later, he was so efficient he put 10 people out of work."
Finally, the Zimbabwean Surgeon looks at his colleagues. " You guys are
just amateurs. 20 years ago I was walking down the street and I smelled
a fart. I caught it in a jar and took it back to the lab. There, we
built an arsehole around it, a torso, and finally a complete body. We
called him Robert Mugabe, and he's put the whole bloody country out of
work!"
