NORTH-WEST LONDON MEETING REPORT]
The meeting advertised for North West
London on the 7th November was a great success – despite the efforts of
Tony Lecomber to sabotage it. Mr. Lecomber tried threats to organiser
Ian Edward on the grounds that he was breaking the law under the Data
Protection Act by circularising people without authorisation, whose
names had been taken from official BNP local membership lists. Ian
thought this such a joke he made copies of the letter and had them
handed out to attendees as they arrived at the meeting. Everyone
enjoyed a huge laugh over this piece of ludicrous pomposity.
It was necessary for the meeting not to be
billed as an official BNP event because of the current suspension of
the Hillingdon branch by Mr. Lecomber. Hillingdon, under Ian Edward’s
leadership, has achieved excellent results in recent elections and is
being depended upon to make an important contribution to the party’s
target of fielding 100 candidates in the coming general election, but
because of the present ludicrous suspension (which also includes the
suspension of Ian Edward himself) it is non-operational as a BNP unit.
About 65 were in attendance, despite Mr.
Lecomber’s efforts to discourage people from going. They heard speeches
by Tess Culnane, Richard Edmonds and John Tyndall.
Tess Culnane, an ever-more popular
speaker, gave an excellent address, speaking largely about the
breakdown of law and order in our cities. She cited the case of the
present Metropolitan Commissioner, who had acknowledged that these days
London’s police made it a policy to turn a blind eye to certain
offences. When this happens, Tess said, a police chief ceases to be a
guardian of the law and assumes himself to be the law.
Richard Edmonds made a powerful speech in
which he made mention of the forthcoming 40th birthday of Spearhead
magazine. He spoke of Spearhead’s key role in getting the BNP
started. He praised its contribution to nationalist thinking in Britain
over many years, and condemned utterly the decision of BNP chairman
Nick Griffin to ban the sale of the magazine through the party.
After a pleasant interval for refreshments
provided by women activists June and Jo (June being the wife of Ian
Edward), John Tyndall took the platform. After providing a brief
explanation of his current suspension by the BNP leadership, he spoke
of the war in Iraq, expressing his rage at the recent statement by
defence secretary Geoff Hoon that he could not understand public anger
over the deaths of the three Black Watch soldiers there last week. He
said that this government regards fine young men like those of the
Black Watch as ‘expendable’ while Premier Blair drools and slobbers
over every kind of young degenerate here at home. He spoke of Blair’s
absurd posture as a staunch opponent of terrorism and produced a
photograph of Blair in friendly discussion with IRA apologists and
one-time activists Gerry Adams and Martin McGuinness. We are in Iraq,
he said, because Blair (like every British premier of the past 60
years) was the poodle of the American president, who in turn is the
poodle of the Israeli lobby. He urged the need for the BNP, if it is to
achieve its target of contesting 100 seats in the next general
election, to function as a united party – which it could not do as long
as branches and key individuals were being suspended, expelled, purged
and banned from speaking. As a united movement, he said, we can win
back out country – as everything is now going for us. But divided, he
said, we are certain to suffer defeat.
Congratulations are due to Ian Edward for
his excellent work in organising this meeting under circumstances of
continual obstruction from BNP headquarters.
WHAT IS NATIONALISM?
Forget
White Nationalism for a moment and look at Nationalism. From whence did
it come? History has not always known nationalism. Nations past have
come ands gone and nations new – if we can term some of the messes we
see emerging in Africa as an example – are created.
What
is a Nation? When did Great Britain become a Nation? What are the
virtues of Nationalism?
A
nation is a state composed of people of the same kind, sharing common
values and heritage, and with a common bond integrated into a mutually
supportive society. Great Britain was not always a Nation in its own
right. It coalesced from various regions of old – Wessex, Mercia (now
both gone), Northumbria and others together with the union of Wales,
Ulster and Scotland – out of this was forged a Nation. But do not take
Nationalism for granted. It can be abused as when it is hijacked by
Internationalists and Cosmopolitan Capitalists, who under various
national banners plunged Europe into two ruinous wars in the last
century.
It
can be hijacked also by the left-socialists and liberals in Britain
today. Blair is to launch his next General Campaign under the tired
slogan “For a better Britain” or some such. Blair is of course about as
Nationalist as a garden slug, but the New Labourites will cynically use
Nationalist slogans, as will Howard’s fast failing Tory party to
cynically whip up latent patriotic and nationalist support.
One
of the strengths of Nationalism is that it gives the people of a nation
– any true nation – a will to be and a feeling of belonging, which no
European Federation or One World Sate can ever match. Of course we can
interchange ideas and trade with other nations, but that interchange
must never become the wholesale takeover of our economy and culture as
is happening in Britain today with Japan and American “pop” culture
fast replacing our national identity.
The
failing and falling off of the National Spirit and National Pride are
manifested all around us. British industry is dead in the water. Our
youth mill about without purpose or direction, easy prey to alien drug
culture and drug pushers. The family unit is breaking up and abortions
and divorces are at peak rates. The One Parent family is becoming the
norm rather than the exception. Britain needs to reassert its own
Nationalism and National Identity NOW as never before!
SHOCK MURDER OF VAN GOGH BY MUSLIM FANATICS!
Dutch police have
arrested eight suspected Islamic radicals as part of the investigation
into the brutal slaying of outspoken filmmaker Theo van Gogh,
prosecutors said Wednesday.
The suspects were
detained in the 24 hours following Van Gogh's killing while he bicycled
on an Amsterdam street, prosecution spokeswoman Dop Kruimel said.
Six of the detainees are
of Moroccan origin, one is Algerian and the last has dual
Spanish-Moroccan nationality, Kruimel said.
Filmmaker
Theo van Gogh had been threatened after the August airing of the movie
"Submission," which he made with a right-wing Dutch politician who had
renounced the Islamic faith of her birth. Van Gogh had received police
protection
after its release. Dutch national broadcaster NOS and other media
reported that Van Gogh's killer shot and stabbed his victim and left a
note on his body. NOS said witnesses described the attacker as having
an "Arab appearance.
A
witness who lives in the neighbourhood heard six shots, and saw the man
concealing a gun. She said he walked away slowly, spoke to someone at
the edge of the park, and then ran.
"He
was walking slowly, like he was trying to be cool," she said,
describing him as wearing a long beard and Islamic garb. "He was either
an Arabic man or someone disguised as a Muslim," she said.
Another
witness told Dutch Radio 1 the killer arrived by bicycle and shot Van
Gogh as he got out of a car. "He fell backward on the bicycle path and
just laid there. The shooter stayed next to him and waited. Waited to
make sure he was dead."
The
slain filmmaker was the great grandson of the brother of famous Dutch
painter Vincent van Gogh, who was also named Theo. In a recent radio
interview, Van Gogh dismissed the threats and called the movie "the
best protection I could have. It's not something I worry about."
Islamic Fundamentalism is now rife throughout the
Western world and anyone – literally anyone – who criticises the Muslim
faith can become a target for the ever-growing ranks of Muslim
Fundamentalist terrorists who now thrive within the increasing Muslim
communities of many European countries. The Dutch Authorities closed
down an Internet book of condolences because many of the entries, which
numbered in the thousands “ attacked the Muslim religion”.
