SPEARHEAD GROUP CHANGES INTO
NATIONALIST ALLIANCE
Sunday March 20th
2005 saw the formation at a
meeting in Blackburn of the Nationalist Alliance. The meeting of over twenty
White Nationalists, representing the Spearhead Group also included
members of the NF, the BNP, the WNP and the England First Party. The
decision was taken by the Spearhead Group to change its name to the
Nationalist Alliance. Messages of support from other groups and parties
who could not be in Blackburn yesterday were read out and after
discussion and a break with buffet, the meeting reassembled and the
formation of the NA was officially announced. Representatives were
mainly from Yorkshire, Lancashire and the East
Midlands.
This
decision has not been made lightly. This is the THIRD meeting the SG
has had this year to look for new ways forward for both itself as an
organisation and a way to promote British Nationalism. The SG, formed
in March 2003 has existed just over a full year and in all that time
has backed John Tyndall to the full in his efforts to take back
leadership of the BNP, and to get his membership back too. This support
is still there wherever we can provide it as the Nationalist Alliance
but we feel that we can do far much more as an independent fully
fledged political organisation. Circumstances have forced us to move
from pressure group to political movement. In the last year we have
accomplished much gaining nearly 250 SG Official Supporters and
establishing a nationwide network of Regional contacts. We have held
some very big meetings and a number of socials. We have established a
busy and popular website and much more besides. Now however we have a
mandate from the SG membership at large to move on and transform
ourselves into the Nationalist Alliance.
January
of this year saw us having to examine our options regarding the BNP and
our approach to trying to turn around the BNP back to White
Nationalism. The vast majority present were of the opinion that this
could no longer be done though would have been desirable if workable.
This message was taken to a Strategy Conference held in Nottingham in
February. At this conference it was obvious that though a few still
hoped to try and work within the BNP, the majority still felt that this
was a hopeless and vastly wasteful effort. It was clear we could no
longer expend very valuable time, effort and money to pursue a policy
which we saw to be taking us nowhere despite our best efforts.
Meanwhile great pressure has been growing both from within and without
the Spearhead Group to change direction and become a much more
effective weapon in the struggle for White Nationalism. Indeed last
year a number of ex-BNP members had already set up a new organisation
in the South, again after going to great lengths to change things from
within.
Our
new approach is far more wide ranging and is based on uniting all
British Nationalists outside the BNP into one solid organisation. We
have some basic statements which came out at yesterday’s meeting on
this. Firstly, if organisations wish to dissolve and become part of the
NA then that is fine and their members will be accepted. Secondly if
patriots wish to remain in their current party whatever it is,
including of course the BNP then they can also take up dual membership
of the NA as an expression of White Nationalist Solidarity. We will not
proscribe any party or group from membership and we will not indulge in
petty name calling and reacting to infantile and personal jibes against
us. The Nationalist Alliance wishes to be seen as the one Movement
which rises above personal attacks and name calling. We would stress
that this is the best time we have to unite White Nationalists
throughout Great
Britain – we
have taken the lead – please accept our invitation!
We
are keeping our programme simple and although our policies will of
course develop in the future we are basing ourselves initially on the
‘Three Principles of White Nationalism. These are:-
The Fourteen
Words. "We must secure
the existence of our people and a future for white children."
This
says it all and all other principles and policies regarding Race and
immigration can be developed from this simple statement. It is powerful
and emotive in its simplicity.
British Independence and Sovereignty
We
must oppose all forms of Internationalism and Globalism from the EU
through to the UN and any other International grouping which seeks to
limit or control our folk and our British nation’s destiny.
Freedom of
thought,
speech and expression.
We
must oppose all forms of legislation which limit or forbid the rights
of free British men and women to exercise the inalienable rights of
freedom, thought and expression.
These
are three simple and straightforward principles meant as the basis for
the development of a policy/political programme on many other subjects.
If we
keep it this simple rather than ask people to undertake a whole
raft of policies immediately then we sow the seeds for disunity.
Our immediate tasks are meetings with other
groups from the Midlands, South West, South East and London. A provisional NA National Council of nine has
been established which will meet soon. Our top propaganda effort will
be initially the construction of a new and powerful Nationalist
Alliance website and the production of thousands of our first leaflet –
one which will attack the tyrannous Race Acts. We are also planning a
monthly newspaper style publication provisionally dubbed ‘Backlash’.
Heritage and Destiny magazine has given the Nationalist Alliance its
fullest support and it goes without saying that the excellent and long
standing Spearhead will receive total support from the NA and will now
be able to hit a much wider audience. Our support for
Spearhead is undiminished and can now be pushed on a much wider basis! We will also be producing a range of three
stickers initially for private distribution. One on Europe; the Race Act and one on the Asylum Seeker problem.
When the time comes and subject to National
Council
ratification the Nationalist Alliance will most probably register
itself as a political party for anyone wishing to contest elections. We
also back all other White Nationalist candidates in their own area if
they are contesting an election. Existing
SG supporters will be given free membership of the NA renewable on January 1st
2006. There will be an
opt out of this of course for those few who may no agree with our
decision and feel they can still change the BNP. We wish them
sincerely, good luck in this effort but at the risk of labouring the
point, nobody has tried more strenuously than the SG over the last year
to do this. SG Officials we know for the greatest part are converting
their positions over to the Nationalist Alliance.
The activities coming up are our two SG socials
in Blackburn on the 22nd of April and the big
St.George’s Day
event in Bradford on the afternoon of 23rd April. All
British Nationalists will be welcome at these.
