FRIENDS OF JOHN TYNDALL MEMORIAL DINNER – 23^rd October NORTHANTS

John Tyndall would yesterday have beamed with pride secure in the knowledge that the legacy of his lifetime of personal activism, of sacrifice and defiance of ZOG on behalf of Race and Nation is in safe hands.

At a Northants ‘Friends of Spearhead’ memorial dinner, ably chaired by long-standing JT friend and comrade John Morse, 80 white racial comrades heard a succession of speakers, including four from the BPP, paid homage with great passion to JT and to his tremendous strength and popularity as our past, now fallen, Leader. With thunderous applause and standing ovations, the audience mirrored that passion and re-affirmed their belief in what JT stood for.

Eulogy after eulogy praised JT and each new speech delivered a barrage warning our enemies that our Leader might be dead but that his legions soldier on.

To those of us who listened and applauded from the floor, this was no Wake but, as the BPP Chairman, John G. Wood, broadsided, a Council of War. BPP National Organiser Eddy Morrison, summed up our party’s view of John Tyndall with a stirring salute: ‘John Tyndall was our Leader of the past, is our Leader today and will be our Leader in the future’.

Bringing together  some of British Nationalism’s best-known and respected veterans and foot-soldiers, yesterday’s event was a watershed gathering which bodes well for the future of a movement sorely pressed by ever-tightening and oppressive legislation and threatened by the revisionism and collaborationism of  those willing to sell out on principles for which JT would not have traded a single centimetre of his moral  stance against Whitehall’s never-ceasing cultural, moral and racial degeneration.

The Top Table speakers alone could boast collective experience reflecting some 200 years of street level and leadership service to our movement.

In addition to the four BPP speakers named above, JT’s other long-term comrade and Spearhead colleague, Richard Edmonds rounded off the day’s events with, see below, a hard-hitting summation which pointed the way forward for all concerned about translating JT’s vision into a programme of action for the New Millennium. June James also proffered an essay which recalled the Tyndall family’s strong church ties and which, although not easy for some listeners to embrace, undoubtedly struck a nerve with her reminders of Biblical references to God’s allocation of separate lands for separate races.

BPP member and Heritage and Destiny magazine deputy-editor Peter Rushton both enthused and amused us with a rousing introductory oration which emphasised how in just 57 years, the 2000 West Indian immigrants who arrived on the SS ‘Empire Windrush’ had begun a process of  immigration resulting in London’s 2 million non-white residents and the fact that over 50% of babies born in London are born to non-British mothers. In just one large Yorkshire town, in a single school, said Peter, over 90% of pupils have parents of Bangladeshi origin.

The most telling development, however, is the fact that the weekend’s inter-racial riot in Birmingham, a clash triggered by an alleged sexual assault upon a 14-year-old girl and including 4 stabbings, the wounding of a police officer and the death of a man, was not between Whites and non-Whites but between youths from the Anglo-Asian and Afro-Caribbean communities. In that scenario, the host community’s marginalization and irrelevance was glaringly evident. The warring parties, Peter was, in effect, illustrating, don’t mind how we feel about it and our views, our safety and welfare, don’t matter to them.

Any allegation of sexual assault upon a minor is a serious business. If proved, the offenders deserve to be punished. What is worrying about the whole affair is the alarming speed with which the fighting erupted and the intensity of the violence. The awesome reality of these events also rams home the truth of what we recently put to Commission for Racial Equality chief Trevor Phillips – that the White majority population of these islands experiences the effects of multi-racialism with a far greater degree of concern and realism than the CRE and its gravy train cohorts are willing to admit. We KNOW the true scope of inter – racial tension and have witnessed its effects in many ways. As Peter Rushton rightly said, non-White immigration to Britain’s northern regions has mushroomed to such an extent that Birmingham’s White community  were of no consequence in the eyes of  Blair’s government.

A lighter-hearted but no less serious JT memorial speech was given by BPP member Keith Axon. Keith is a veteran White nationalist whose support for the BPP is a valuable asset.

In summing up the various speeches, Richard Edmonds emphasised how, almost 50 years ago, John Tyndall foresaw not only the current immigration nightmare Big Picture but, also, the successive crises and Whitehall betrayals which have led us to today’s sorry state of affairs.

Richard, to paraphrase, said that JT’s death had left our still – grieving movement leaderless and shocked but not helpless. JT, it has to be conceded, has no obvious natural successor. The movement has no obvious candidate of equal stature who could today step forward and fill JT’s position.

This does not, however, mean that we should simply lie down and allow ZOG’s forces to roll over us. Political realities demand political solutions. Policies must still be determined and action taken. The message must still be promoted and the movement taken to greater heights.

Just how that can and should now be done is a matter for careful discussion. Hence the formation of the ‘Friends of John Tyndall’ organisation, a Think Tank if you like, whose function will be to look afresh at today’s political challenges but to do so through JT’s eyes.

What WOULD JT have done or said if faced by a particular issue, person or problem? How far beyond the immediate scenario would JT have looked and how capable are we of matching his insight, responses and integrity?

To ram home both the domestic and international popularity and importance of John Tyndall’s personality and vision, Richard Edmonds produced a letter received from our persecuted Canadian – German racial comrade Ernst Zundel. Facing trial in Germany, Ernst was much-respected by and reciprocated the comradeship of the late JT. From his cell in a high security prison, Ernst wrote many kind words about JT. The important, however, were that JT, as a man and a political figure, was ‘a role model’.

A role model….With such fine praise, JT continues to figure largely in our hearts and in those of many overseas comrades. He is especially remembered, in the midst of his own trials, by one of white nationalism’s most oppressed freedom fighters.

On a lighter note, BPP National Organiser, Eddy Morrison, prompted many laughs and raised   much-needed money in his role as Auctioneer. A wide range of rare, collectible, White Nationalist

Publications attracted serious interest from the floor. All items were sold and the intensity of the bidding was a tribute to Eddy’s skills as Auction Master.

A large number of BPP publications were sold, several new members were recruited and a strong BPP presence ensured that we made a positive impact.

More importantly, yesterday’s events remind us that the sheer vigour, presence and true grit of the man who was John Tyndall continue to propel us forward in our drive towards that Brave New World whose achievement was, after his love for wife and family, JT’s most cherished dream.

ENGLAND: NEWS ON RELIGIOUS HATRED BILL

There has been a very important development in the campaign to oppose the
Government's religious hatred offence. There is to be a vote in the House
of Lords on Tuesday 25 October. This should be made a matter of earnest prayer.
Yesterday Lord Hunt (for the Conservatives) and Lord Lester QC (for the
Liberal Democrats) tabled a cross-party amendment to the Racial and
Religious Hatred Bill.
We would rather not have the Bill at all, but the Conservatives and the
Liberal Democrats said yesterday that if they simply threw out the Bill, or
passed wrecking amendments, the Government would carry out its threat to
use the Parliament Acts to force the legislation through the Lords. Faced
with this threat, the two opposition parties, along with Lord Carey of
Clifton, the former Archbishop, and Lord Plant of Highfield, a prominent
Labour Peer, has tabled a compromise amendment. Their initiative seeks to
protect free speech and religious liberties, whilst at the same time
allowing the Government to fulfill its manifesto commitment.
For most campaigns on Christian issues it is a back bench politician who
takes the initiative. On this occasion the two main opposition parties want
to take the lead in a major way. This means that the potential numbers on
our side in any vote are considerably greater than is usually the case. To
my mind a key factor in all this is the hard work of Christians up and down
the country who have been making contact with their MPs. A level of
Christian lobbying is currently going on which, in my experience, is
unprecedented. This has undoubtedly triggered a great interest from front
bench politicians.

The main points of the compromise amendment
The amendment significantly narrows the scope of the proposed incitement to
religious hatred offence in three ways:
(1) It provides a robust defence for free speech and evangelism (Clause
29J). The wording states:
'Nothing in this Part shall be read or given effect in a way which
prohibits or restricts discussion, criticism or expressions of antipathy,
dislike, ridicule, insult or abuse of particular religions or the beliefs
or practices of their adherents, or of any other belief system or the
beliefs or practices of its adherents, or proselytising or urging adherents
of a different religion or belief system to cease practising their religion
or belief system.'
(2) The loosely worded phrase 'likely to stir up religious hatred' has been
removed. It must now be proved that a person intended to stir up religious
hatred.
(3) Only 'threatening' conduct would now be covered by the offence. The
words 'abusive' and 'insulting' have been removed.

Our position
We are urging peers to vote for the amendment. It removes the most obvious
problems with the wording of the religious hatred offence. The amendment is
the only one with support of both main opposition parties.
Any religious hatred offence involves a risk to religious liberties. That
is why we continue to oppose the Bill and pray that still somehow it will
be dropped. It is right and proper to pray for this, whilst at the same
time using the practical opportunities which present themselves.

Prayer points
The two opposition parties have decided to hold the first vote at very
short notice. Whilst there is no time before Tuesday to step up our letter
writing campaign, there is plenty of time to pray!
We thank God for the strong opposition to the religious hatred offence and
for the intervention of the two main opposition parties.
Please pray:
* that freedom to preach the Gospel will be safeguarded
* that the House of Lords will accept the amendment on Tuesday by a large
majority or better still that the Government will drop the Bill
* that the issues will be well debated and fairly reported in the media
* for Government Ministers that they would be strongly challenged about the
effect of their Bill and shamed into changing their mind
* that those involved in the Parliamentary debates may be given wisdom and
resolution
* for The Christian Institute as we deal with many issues at this time,
particularly the Equality Bill which also has implications for religious
liberties.
If the Lords accept the amendment, the Bill goes back to the Commons and
MPs must decide whether to accept the Lords' amendment or re-instate the
Bill as originally drafted. This will mean future votes in Parliament with
the potential for the Bill to 'ping-pong' between the two Houses. So it is
vitally important that, as well as praying, Christians continue to contact
their MPs.
