Today's school history text books have been rewritten to show Britain in only the darkest possible light. It's a teaching of history that would be unrecognizable to anyone over thirty-five. Great Britain is described by today’s multi-racial educators as being a sick society. Its past is viewed as having been dangerously racist, xenophobic, imperialist, misogynist, homophobic, and a litany of other supposed horrors. It is a society that must “atone” for the alleged sins of its past. Its people, particularly its children, need to be, in the some Stalinist sense, re-educated and reconditioned.”

IRAN: HOLOCAUST CONFERENCE SOON IN TEHRAN
Iran has decided to rewrite and revise the history of the Holocaust. Following the repeated declarations by the Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and other senior government officials on the need to re-examine the history of the genocide of the Jews during the Second World War, the association of Islamic Journalists of Iran has been tasked with quickly putting together an international conference on the Holocaust.

"President Ahmadinejad has placed at the centre of international attention, a very important question on the truthfulness of the version that Europe and the Zionists have imposed on the world on the murder of Jews during the years of the great war, and therefore we are of the opinion that it is useful and necessary to organise an international conference on that theme, where all the historians and researchers, even those that do not believe in the official version, will be able to express themselves freely," Mehdi Afzali, spokesman of the Association of Islamic Journalists.
"We want to offer a free and democratic platform to the historians to examine in-depth this myth, seeing that in different European countries there exist laws against democracy and freedom that to do not allow intellectuals who believe in a version distinct from that which is officially pronounced on the Holocaust," added Afzali.
"We will invite those who believe in the imposed version as well as all those who have spent years of their lives in the study of documents related to the Holocaust and have come to the conclusion that the history books in schools and universities do not correspond to the truth," said Afzali, who however refused to supply the names of the revisionist historians who have been contacted to appear in the conference in Tehran. Revisionists are those who deny that the Holocaust ever happened.

In Iran, books by the English historian, David Irving, currently in custody in an Austrian jail after having been accused of denying the Holocaust, are very popular.
Among the names of possible guests at the conference are the Israeli journalist Israel Shamir, a convert to Christianity, and Horst Mahler from Germany, a former member of the terrorist group, the Red Army Faction. Other revisionist scholars, such as the French Robert Faurisson and the American Arthur
Butz, are also some of the other possible participants of the conference in Tehran.

Nationalist Week comment:- another reason why the Iran will incur the wrath of the New World Order now limbering up to carry out another war with Israel saber rattling – and guess what “Weapons of Mass Destruction”, that new modern shibboleth is being touted about.

Remember Dresden!
The Swedish Dresden Committee was formed at the beginning of 2005 to honor the memory of those killed by the allied bombings over the city of Dresden
and other German cities during the final stages of Second World War. By holding annual remembrance ceremonies they help preserve the memory of that part of history
that the present power elite want us to forget.
The tradition of commemorating the anniversary of the three day long annihilation of the city of Dresden at Skogskyrkogården in Stockholm was begun in 2003.
But it wasn’t until 2005 that the ceremonies came to involve more than just a handful of dedicated people. That year about 60 people took part in Stockholm.
The Dresden Committee has no political or religious affiliations. The activities are limited to the ceremony in remembrance of the victims in Dresden, and also a smaller ceremony in remembrance of the sinking of the refugee ship Wilhelm Gustloff.
The purpose of this new web site is to show the world that the memory and remembrance is alive and being cared of.

East Berlin Communist Parliament Building To Be Demolished?

Lovers of traditional German civic architecture are pleased with plans to replace East Berlin's Palace of the Republic, the former Communist parliament building, with a replica of the Baroque-style palace which originally stood on that site but was gutted by fire during late-WWII bombing raids and flattened by post-war Communist authorities.

Anti-Communist veterans are also ecstatic that such a symbol of Cold War Communist power in the former East Germany / DDR should at last be biting the dust.

On many occasions, delegates and officials of the Communist Volkskammer, or People's Parliament', gathered in the plenary hall of the 'People's Chamber' of der Palast der Republik to hear their pro-Moscow leader Erich Honecker deliver speeches and issues edicts.

The man most widely associated in Western eyes with Communism's construction of the Berlin Wall and with the shootings by East German border guards, or Grepos, of numerous fellow countrymen and women as they tried to flee to the West, Honecker did not take kindly to the personally-delivered views of the Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev who warned Honecker that the Communist empire was crumbling and that Honecker should not try to oppose calls for greater freedoms with military repression.

As for the Palast der Republik, built on Marx Engels Platz in the early 1970's, the Palace also housed restaurants and theatres and was, in its latter years, also the venue of numerous artistic and cultural events. Marx Engels Platz was itself built on the site of the former Imperial Palace, or Berliner Schloss, which the Communists 50 years ago and turned into a car park. Part of the car park was in turn used by the Palast der Republik.

Overlooking the River Spree, the massive Palast was built in less than 1,000 days. With its large, bronzed, sun - reflecting windows, it was an unmistakable jewel in the Communist regime's crown and Erich Honecker was deeply proud of it. In deference to Erich Honecker's liking for lamps, the Palace of the Republic had up 9,000 lamps, a feature which earned it the nickname of 'the lamp shop'.

Modernist campaigners, meantime, say that the German people should not allow the present German Government to 'fake' or to rewrite their country's history, that the Palace of the Republic, which the Communists razed because they believed to it to be a great symbol of 'Prussian imperialism', should be preserved as an honest memorial to the divisions which real-time history forced upon the country.

Demolishing the Palace, they say, will not alter the realities of Germany's 20th century history. Nor is the recreation of a Prussian palace which formed an icon element of the Berlin skyline during the Hitler era viewed by the modernists as being an emotionally or politically wise method of advancing Germany's continuing national healing process.

From an official perspective, the interior of the Palast has stripped of virtually all fittings. Special efforts have also been applied to removing large amounts of asbestos; the asbestos problem was, in fact, discovered almost 20 years ago and the Communist used this health and safety concern as grounds to close the building shortly before the reunification of Germany in 1990. Since the Palast was stripped of asbestos and declared safe, small groups of visitors have been allowed inside.

In this country, some historian or other would no doubt succeed in having the Palast der Republik registered as a Listed Building and twin it with a 1960's deck access block of flats in Birmingham. In Berlin, there seems little doubt that the Palast will, indeed, be demolished.

For the BPP, there is no confusion in this matter. We shed no tears for the passing of this building and are in no way moved to sentiment.

As a monument to Communist terror in East Germany, it deserves not just demolition but a ritual torching. The German psyche needs to be cleansed of all surviving symbols of Marxism's past regime of oppression and nothing would be gained by subjecting future generations of German youth to enforced tours of yet another rescued shrine to Stalinist cruelty.

As for the recreation of the Palast der Republik's Prussian-built, Baroque-style, predecessor.....Allied bombing and artillery barrages coupled with wide-ranging post-war demolitions robbed Germany's capital city of many of its historic buildings. Each nation should be permitted to walk its own journey of recovery, to work its own process of national healing.

If the Berlin authorities chose to recreate not just the Prussian era palace which stood on the site of the above Communist era monstrosity but, also, as many other once -beautiful Prussian buildings as they can find monies for then we of the BPP say power to their elbows.

Over many generations past, countless foreign students, teachers, artists, writers, film-makers, scientists, engineers, business professionals, soldiers and a host of others have been inspired and enthused by German culture and by German civic, academic and military. How the German authorities replace Erich Honecker's Palast der Republik is up to them but the prospect of restoring the Marx Engels Platz, originally the Berliner Schloss, to its Imperial era beauty is one which moves us to a state of eager anticipation.
