Once there form up in a line at the front cenotaph, with four flag bearers to the left and four to the right. The wreath layers in the middle.

BPP member Eddy Morrison will conduct the Christian part of the Service,

"Let us remember before God, and commend to his sure keeping:
Those who have died for our country in war;
Those whom we knew, and whose memory we treasure; And all those who have lived and died in the service of our country.
They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them."

All Patriots shall then repeat: "We shall remember them".

The Last Post will be played -
All flags must be dipped

There will be a two minutes silence.

The Revelle will be played - All flags must be raised again.

MJ will lay a wreath on behalf of the England First Party;

Malcolm will lay a wreath on behalf of the BPP;

Eddy Morrison will then read the following.

<>
"Almighty and eternal God, from whose love in Christ we cannot be parted, either by death or life: Hear our prayers and thanksgivings for all whom we remember this day; fulfill in them the purpose of thy love; and bring us all, with them, to thine eternal joy; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen."

<>Those Christians present will say the Lord's Prayer.

"Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be they name;
Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done; On earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us. and lead us not into temptation;
But deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, The power and the glory,
For ever and ever. Amen"

Patriots will then read the poem from In Flanders Field together.

<>In Flanders fields the poppies blow, between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky, the larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields. Take up our quarrel with the foe;
To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die  We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

Those Christian present will now sing O God, Our Help in Ages Past.

"O God our help in ages past, Our hope for years to come,
Our shelter from the stormy blast, And our eternal home.
Under the shadow of thy throne, Thy saints have dwelt secure:

Sufficient is thine arm alone, And our defence is sure.
If all the hills in order stood Or earth received her frame
From everlasting thou art God, To endless years the same.
A thousand ages in thy sight, Are like an evening gone
Short as the watch that ends the night Before the rising sun.
Time, like an ever rolling stream, Bears all its sons away;
They fly forgotten, as a dream Dies at the opening day.
O God, our help in ages past, Our hope for years to come,
Be thou our guard while troubles last, And our eternal home."

Eddy Morrison – BPP   “When you go home, tell them of us and say, for your tomorrow, we gave our today."

After the service will everyone please make their way back to Uncle Jacks in Lower Darwen where we will drink a toast to fallen comrades.

Wreaths: From The British Legion.
