THE
SUNDAY VIGIL
PETE WILLIAMSON BPP NATIONAL ORGANISER WRITES.... On Sunday the 24th June 2007 POWER held their second vigil for the fallen Comrades in the current race war, and the white victims of racist murders by none whites. In front of a large multi-racial and often hostile crowd over 60 proud white men and women, from all over the UK descended upon Hyde Park in London, and set up a pitch on Speakers Corner. In the name of UNITY and Camaraderie, I was invited to attend and speak at this event. Something I was both honoured and delighted to do! In front of a large mixed audience of many races, together we put forward the point that although the likes of Steven Lawrence, (or as one of the audience pointed out 'murdered black teenager Steven Lawrence), was still being mentioned over 13 years after his death, a white murdered teenager like Kris Donald, who was also brutally tortured , hardly got a mention at the time of his murder, let alone in the following years. Leading POWER member Danny explained that as well as being made second or third class citizens in our own country, our people are being murdered by people who shouldn't really be here, and nobody seems to care. I then gave a shortish speech about White Nationalism, why it is necessary in this day and age, and how decades of corrupt politicians and corporate greed are responsible for the mess we are in. How nobody asked us if we wanted a 'multi racial society', and how every election different parties promise to deal with the problem of mass immigration, then blatantly don't. I also called for all our troops to be recalled from overseas, and declared that they were being killed in an illegal and immoral conflict that was also none of our business. As the heckling became more intense, and the hoards of watching police moved closer with their camera's, a minutes silence was called for our victims. Which was followed by emotional applause, even by those who were arguing with us. The Reds failed to show up on the day, and so even though there were so many conflicting opinions, there was no violence. Questions were asked from the crowd, and we all took turns to answer them. The police were there, but didn't have to separate us, and so stayed to one side. Our flags were flying throughout, as were various banners, including some POWER ~ BPP unity banners. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the lads and lasses from the POWER organisation for a great day, and for the camaraderie shown to both myself, and my BPP comrade Buster. UNITED WE WILL WIN!
