Dear John,
I write to express my
appreciation for the excellent meeting held in Leeds last Saturday,
Sept. 10th to commemorate John Tyndall.
The standard of the
speeches dedicated to our friend and comrade were of the highest; the
atmosphere amongst the patriots and nationalists assembled was one of
respect mixed with fond memories of a great fighter for the cause. Your chairing of the occasion ensured that
everything went smoothly, that all points were covered and that in
addition to all the tributes, it was the example that John set as a
life-long campaigner for our cause. Come
rain or shine, that mattered most; an example for us to follow in the
no doubt troubled times to come. John Tyndall, worthy in his way to
join all those who have gone before.
On a personal note, there
was the pleasure for me to meet again some of the northern comrades
whom I had first met at the demos organized by the NA i
n support of J.T. at his regular court appearances in
Leeds. J.T., as you know, very much
appreciated those turnouts on his behalf.
Let me repeat here, that
the words you composed for him spoke for me exactly.
Yours for Race and Nation,
Richard Edmonds.
