THIS
IS A REPRINT OF A PAMPHLET PUBLISHED EDDY MORRISON, NOW OF THE BPP.
IT WAS
UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED AT THE NF AGM BUT NEVER ADOPTED.
WE ARE
REPRINTING IT HERE BECAUSE IT CONTAINS MOST OF WHAT THE BPP WILL
EVENTUALLY
ORGANISATIONALLY AND POLITICALLY LOOK LIKE.
THE NEED TO RESTRUCTURE
The
resolution below was passed at the Annual General Meeting
of the National Front, held in Leicestershire in February 2000 on the
pressing and urgent need for radical changes in the set-up and
organisation of the party. The proposer Eddy Morrison, seconded by the
Northern England Organiser, laid down the basic guidelines for a
vertically structured Movement as well as the need to divide the United
Kingdom into administrative areas. The need for two basic sections to
the party - one political and one administrative - was also outlined.
We feel that the reasons why the NF needs a very thorough
reorganisation is mainly due to its increasing growth and success in
the areas of both recruitment and publicity. The NF is again growing
fast and with constant activities, marches and demonstrations, the need
for a streamlined, smooth and efficient organisational machine is
greater than ever!
The NF is on
the path to fast becoming THE premier White
Nationalist Movement in Britain [pressure-valves like the BNP can blow
their own trumpet as much as they want, they are NOT WHITE
Nationalists] . In the 70's and 80's, shaky organisation and
administration hindered the grass roots development of the Party. When
the hard times came in the early '80s, there was no solid organisation
in place to hold the membership together, and although this wasn't the
only reason for our fall back, it certainly contributed to it. Current
estimates are that between 1970 and 1980, over 60,000 people passed
through the ranks of the NF! Where are they now? Most of them would
rally back to us, together with the new, younger generations of White
Nationalists - but ONLY if we show them we are true political and
administrative professionals.
PROPOSALS FOR THE ORGANISATIONAL
RESTRUCTURING OF THE NATIONAL FRONT
PROPOSED
REGIONS OF THE NF
Although the NF has a loose regional structure, this needs to be put on
a firm geographical and structural framework. The Regions proposed are
as follows, each led by a Regional Leader:
South West England (Covering Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Avon,
Wiltshire)
South East England (Hampshire, Isle of Wight, West Sussex, East Sussex,
Kent, Surrey, Berkshire)
Greater London, East England (Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire,
Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Essex)
Anglia (Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Norfolk)
West Midlands (Gloucestershire, Hereford & Worcester, Warwickshire,
Staffordshire, Shropshire)
East Midlands (Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire,
Derbyshire)
Wales
North West (Cheshire, Merseyside, Lancashire, Cumbria, Isle of Man)
Yorkshire
North East (Cleveland, Durham, Tyne & Wear, Northumberland)
Scotland
Ulster
This gives us
thirteen regions, led by a Regional Leader and
each eventually with its own Regional Structure - directly responsible
to the National/Central Headquarters
of the NF.
ORGANISATIONAL
STRUCTURE
The proposition is as follows: The Regions are then subdivided under
counties, each under the control of a County Leader. In the case of
Greater London, the
suggestion is for London to be divided into four parts - each with the
equivalent of a County Leader running them. The sub organisation under
County, where a county is big enough would be Area - again each under a
relevant Area Leader. For example, the Region of Yorkshire, as the
biggest county is Yorkshire, would not have a County Leader, but
naturally subdivides into three areas - West. East and North Ridings -
each run by an Area Leader.
Below Area, would be Districts - headed by District Leaders, thus
Birmingham, Manchester/Leeds and other big conurbations including major
London Boroughs would have
District Organisations. At the basic level would be the NF Unit. Again
as an example, Liverpool
District NF (part of the North West Region and the Merseyside Area NF)
- would have its separate
Units, under Unit leaders. This may seem complex at first - but breaks
down into Region, County. Area,
District and Unit.
POLITICAL
ORGANISATION
We are attempting here to make the distinction between the POLITICAL
ORGANISATION of the NF and the ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANISATION of the NF.
Let us first deal with
our definition of the political organisation and why we need a twin
system. Political tasks
would be those involving activities, demos, marches, recruitment and
propaganda drives. The
Political Organisation (PO) would be essentially the "on the streets"
side of the NF. The Leaders at all
levels as described in ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE would be the core
element of the PO. Directives
from HQ, or from levels further down could be easily passed in both
directions as
everybody would be clearly aware of demarcation lines of duty and
responsibility. The electoral area too would come under the PO.
Election campaigns would be the sole prerogative of the PO at the
relevant level. It is suggested that a National Political Organiser be
appointed with a Political Executive
covering areas such as Activities, Propaganda, Elections, Press and
Media, Recruitment, New Unit
Development, Party Affiliate Organisations and External Security.
ADMINISTRATIVE
ORGANISATION
The Administrative Organisation (AO) would be headed by a National
Administration Organiser, helped by an Executive covering Finance,
Membership, Enquiries,
Literature distribution to NF bodies, Membership Bulletins, Fund
Raising, National Secretary,
Internal Security, Theory and Policy, Book Service, Internet
Development, Media Monitoring,
Opposition Monitoring Section and Database, Business Manager,
Marketing. The main function oftheAO is to
give daily back up to the PO, and shoulder the burden for the day to
day running of the "business
side" of the NF. The AO would liase with NF Regional, County, Area,
District and Unit
Secretaries who would be the representatives of the AO at ground level.
AFFILIATE
ORGANISATIONS
These would come under the PO and suggested ones are:
Young National Front
Women's Front
Friends of the National Front
NF Ex-Servicemen
NF Overseas Organisation
AFFILIATES:
Rock Against the Reds (NF controlled music section)
NF Student Front
NF Trades Union Organisation
Other possible affiliates could be such things as Farmer's Front,
Mainland Loyalist Front. Front organisations covering other
trade/professional bodies etc.
PROPAGANDA
AND PUBLICITY
The propaganda/publicity side - sometimes termed "agitprop" - would
normally fall under the PO's wing. The stress here to be brief is that
our main propaganda drive
should be phased as follows:
Marches and demonstrations to give high profile "We are back" emphasis,
and show the British people and the reds that the NF is a growing force
to be reckoned with.
The selective involvement in elections, especially local council and
by-elections for publicity purposes, but only when a decent ground
campaign can be mounted. No more
"paper campaigns" that bring derisory results and demoralise members
and supporters. As the NF
grows, bigger marches and open air meetings as the main focus of our
headline grabbing. The reformation of the drum corps, flag party,
stewarding corps, and the mass production of placards for any and all
occasions.
The production of a MONTHLY tabloid paper - "The Flame" - with
distribution on the widest scale possible - with an eye to a future
fortnightly paper.
A wide selection of leaflets/posters/stickers etc - standard leaflets
supplemented by "instant response" propaganda.
PRESENCE
ON THE INTERNET
We already have a growing presence on the .net with our main website on
www.natfront.com. This needs to be constantly updated and expanded -
but is going in the right
direction. What is envisaged is an expansion eventually to a separate
website, apart from the
National one for each region giving thirteen sites in ail. Eventually
all sites with be hot linked, and
also have links pages to other like minded Aryan groups around the
world. With all Regions and key
activists eventually being linked up - one e-mail can provide instant
communication on say, a national
activity to all. We already have and are also expanding our fortnightly
e-zine WHITE NATIONALIST REPORT
which has been going out regularly since August 1999. This is hitting
around 1500 people per
issue and continues to grow. Control and supervision of our web growth
would come under the AO side
of the NF.
FINANCIAL
PROPOSALS
Everybody recognises as the key to carrying out most of the above
stated intentions/We need a regular income and regularly paid, full
time staff. It is proposed that
this comes initially from the following areas:
Friends of
the Front - supporters who pay £20 per month
into Party HQ
Increased number of membership subscriptions as membership increases.
The end to the practice of Units holding back half of their new members
subs - local cash
should be raised by other methods.
A national monthly draw - lottery style with a decent cash prize. Units
to keep part of the ticket money sold.
The creation of a Marketing department to supplement our Book
Distribution service to sell badges,
T-shirts, mugs, posters, plaques, CD's and a host of other NF related
material.
The first
acquisition when increased levels of finance are
achieved should be one or two FULL TIME staff. This is of vital
importance, as is eventually a National HQ
building. Other suggestions for raising finance can be input into these
proposals.
BASIC
REQUIREMENTS OF MEMBERSHIP AND GRADING
It is proposed that we have three tiers of membership:
Full Members who pay £15 per year and have the full rights of
voting/appointment to Party office and are the only ones allowed at the
Annual General Meeting and at Directorate Meetings (if Directorate
members).
Associate Members - who pay £10 per year and are accepted members
apart from they have no voting rights nor can they occupy a position of
authority.
Official Supporters - People who pay £5 per year straight. We are
looking here at people reluctant to join but who may do eventually
though at first becoming official supporters, Twice a year they receive
a special "Official Supporter's Bulletin".
Separate
application forms for the three grades should be
introduced with the accent on being extra info/security aspects on the
Full Member's form. A bit less on the
Associate form. and basic details on the Official Supporter's form.
SUMMARY
All this seems a lot to swallow at once we can appreciate. We know
there may be objections as some of the ideas here are radical - but
they are also VITAL! Time is the important factor with reforms being
introduced as funds and personnel become available. However it is vital
that we study these reform proposals and accept them with whatever
amendments others may wish to input and agreed eventually by the
Directorate as a blueprint for our near future organisation. We are
gaining members and publicity all the time, but, without a solid,
professional, streamlined and efficient organisation , we could loose
these advantages just as quickly. The NF is growing - the internal
organisation must be ready to grow with it and guide to until
eventually we have a well oiled machine that will give us victory.
