BPP GENERAL ELECTION UPDATE
Following on the decision of the National Elections Officer of the BPP to field a candidate in the Havering area, we can now announce the exact constituency as Romford.
The constituency covers Romford, Gidea Park and Collier Row in the London Borough of Havering, East London. Although the constituency includes the middle class Romford Garden Suburb area, large housing estates also form part of the constituency and the electorate are mostly working class Conservatives.
The reason why we have decided against the Dagenham Consituency which is also in the Havering area is that it has been pointed out that the BNP came second in the last electoral contest and may have a chance of winning this seat. Therefore the BPP will NOT stand in Dagenham so giving the BNP a clear run but will stand in Romford instead.
We have severe policy disagreements with the BNP leadership but we would still rather see a BNP candidate become elected than a Tory.
We hope that the BNP Leadership under Messrs Griffin and co will respond with a similar good will gesture and give the BPP a clear run in Romford. We are doing the decent thing - Mr.Griffin - will you?
Should the BNP decide to stand Romford as well then we may have to put up an extra candidate in the area as our gesture of good faith will  have been totally ignored.
