Australian Holo-skeptic allowed appeal Holocaust® denier Töben granted leave ABC News Tuesday, 2 June 2009 ADELAIDE, S.A. — Holocaust® denier Fredrick Töben has learned he will not be going to jail on his 65th birthday. He has been granted leave to appeal against two Federal Court decisions. Töben was sentenced to three months in jail last month after being found in breach of court orders 24 times. They ban him from vilifying Jewish people on his Adelaide Institute website. Töben has been granted leave to appeal against the penalty and conviction, with the matter listed to be heard in August. He has given an undertaking not to leave South Australia until that hearing, apart from a visit to his Melbourne-based lawyer. |
