UNITED
NATIONS AGENDA 21 ON SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT - AN EXERCISE IN TYRANNY! "Global warming/climate
change", is only one plank of the United Nations Conference on
Environment and Development (the Earth Summit), "Agenda
21", in Rio De Janeiro in 1992 on "Sustainable
Development". Graham Strachan, B.Sc.,
LLB, reports that at this Conference, delegates from the nations of the
world agreed to implement Agenda 21, a
comprehensive plan for world socialist central planning in the 21st
century. The key word of
Agenda 21 is "sustainable": "sustainable development", "sustainable
agriculture", "sustainable communities". (From his book, 22 Steps To
Global Tyranny; Stockdale Publishing, Under Agenda 21, national governments handed over to the
United Nations power to coordinate and control the following: • Patterns
of human consumption (what people eat). • Where
and how people are allowed to live. • The
planning of all future development world-wide. • The
composition of the atmosphere (greenhouse gas emissions). • The
planning and management of land use. • Control
of the utilisation of forests. • Control
of the development in mountain areas. • Control
of types and methods of agriculture. • Control
of areas set aside to protect biological diversity. • The
management of genetic engineering. • Control
of the use of the oceans. • The
management and use of water, world-wide. • The
management of wastes, including toxic chemicals, hazardous wastes,
solid and radioactive wastes. • The
promotion of the role of women, indigenous people, and children and
youth in "sustainable development". (Ibid).
Does any of
this remind you of Communism (today politely called
Socialism)? Keep reading? Dr Esther Charlesworth,
from RMIT's architecture and design department, says the term "sustainability" has been co-opted and
subverted by Community planners (will)
decide where housing will be placed. Committees decide what industries
are to be allowed and how they will operate. Self-appointed watch-dogs
decide the food you shall be permitted to eat - to protest your health,
of course. Family planners decide the number of children allowed and
how they will be raised. (Ibid). Crime can be eliminated in the coming Utopia because there will
be no real possessions of personal property to steal and no personally
owned weapons to
threaten the authority of the `state'. Economic security is
promised in a better world as everyone equally sacrifices their earned
wealth to the `state' so all may live in harmony, free of greed and the
stress of daily living. Everything is well organised, peaceful and controlled. (Ibid). This program
is now the official policy of the
Business
decisions.
Property use.
Medical care.
Education
curriculum.
Foreign policy.
Economics.
Taxation.
Farming
policy,
and
much more. (Ibid). Agenda
21 is based on the principle that government is the maker of rights. (Ibid). However, in the Freedom
21 has published a D VD titled: " |
